Sunday 11.15.09 - Hagerstown, MD

Off day!

After driving through the night, we finally broke down and got a hotelroom—though checking in at 9 am allowed us to sleep two nights there (and cash on on two continental breakfasts) for the price of a single night.

After much needed sleep and showers, Josh and I hit up the Chinese/seafood buffet next door. And it was decadent. Josh began with five plates. We had crab legs, grilled salmon, raw oysters, shrimp of about 12 varieties, frog legs, squid, crawfish, sushi and nigiri, as well as all the traditional Asian fare. And enough ice cream to make the restaurant reconsider allowing our entry.

Afterwards we participated in a teevee Nick Cage marathon with pieces of National Treasure and Con Air (don’t they make hair dryers now?) though I missed The Rock which was apparently up next. I can’t believe the man is still working!

Onward to DC! KD
