Monday 11.02.09 - Phoenix
Last night we came back to Modified Arts in Phoenix after almost three years since our first appearance there.
We met up with our new tour mates Holiday Shores who put on an amazing show. I can already tell we’re going to have a great time with them. Especially when they asked me if we were into hacky sack. Not to brag but Austin and I took JV State in hacky sack in high school. They also brought a basketball so I’ll keep my faithful readers posted on pick up game scores and analysis. And if wii sports resort is any indication, I bet I can still shoot the three ball.
We also hit up the nearby bistro/bar Carly’s for dinner and drinks and it was truly excellent. We had local 4 Pines brews and sandwhiches that were the bomb.gov. A definite recommendation for those seeking a good bite to eat in the area.
We also hung out with new friends and fans Allison and Margaret before hitting the road to LA that night. Good times!
All in all, a terrific evening in Phoenix. The warm weather was welcome, but I tried not to enjoy it too much. We’re gonna be braving the cold before too long on this trip.
